Your NC Concealed Carry class gave you the legal knowledge, safety principles, and mindset required to carry responsibly. Fundamental Mastery takes you further. This course builds the core mechanics we call principles every protector must own. Instead of simply knowing what to do, you’ll learn to do it with consistency, confidence, and purpose.
You’ll build on your concealed carry foundation through focused training. We’ll answer the why, how, and what does look and it feel like.
What you’ll learn:
Stance - Developing a stable, repeatable platform that supports recoil control and faster follow‑up shots.
Grip - Refining a secure, high‑control grip that drives accuracy and eliminates wasted movement.
Trigger Control - Mastering smooth, disciplined trigger mechanics that tighten groups and build confidence.
Vision - Training your eyes to acquire sights quickly, track them through recoil, and learn target focus vs. front sight focus.
Holster Work - Advancing from basic safety to efficient, real‑world draw technique rooted in responsibility and readiness.
This is not a beginner firearms safety course. Students should already understand the basic operation and safe handling of their handgun. If you're completely new to firearms, we recommend starting with private instruction or our introductory training.; it is an in-depth class, and you need to have a basic understanding of how your firearm works.
Your Concealed Carry class gave you the why, Fundamental Mastery gives you the how… the practical, repeatable skills that turn responsibility into capability.
